Popular Nigerian artist Timaya has shared candid insights into his personal life, revealing details about his relationships, children, and his perspective on marriage. The revelation came during an interview featured on Naija FM 102.7’s official YouTube channel.
The singer disclosed that he is a father to four children, each from a different woman, and clarified that he is not in a relationship with any of the mothers of his children. “All my children aren’t staying with me; they are living with their mothers. But whenever I want to see them, I ask their mothers to bring them to my house,” Timaya explained.
He also addressed the relationship status of his children’s mothers, noting, “All of them have their own boyfriends.” This open admission further highlighted his stance on family dynamics, which he described as respectful and accommodating despite not being in committed relationships with the mothers of his children.
When asked about his views on marriage, Timaya was forthright. He shared his reluctance to marry, citing his apprehensions about marital stress and the potential for separation. “I have never been committed to getting married because if I get married and my wife stresses me, I could break up with her,” he said.
