Finland Freezes Simon Ekpa’s Assets and Detains Him in High-Security Prison

Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed agitator for Biafran independence, has had his assets frozen by Finnish authorities amid allegations of terrorism-related activities.

According to reports from Sahara Reporters, the Finnish government has extended the freeze to companies linked to Ekpa and four of his alleged accomplices, all of whom remain in custody.

The development was confirmed by Yle, a Finnish newspaper, which revealed that Ekpa is being held at Kylmäkoski Vankila, a maximum-security prison located in Vanhamaantie, Akaa.

The prison, regarded as one of the toughest in the world, is known for its stringent security measures and strict inmate controls.

Ekpa has been in detention for several weeks, with Finnish authorities showing no signs of relenting in their investigation.

His prolonged detention indicates that he may remain in custody through the Christmas and New Year holidays.
