Burna Boy surprise fans with a brand-new song titled ‘Update’. The Nigerian Grammy-winning singer did not give any hints before dropping the track as he just announced it by sharing a short video on Instagram.

In ‘Update’, Burna Boy samples Soul II Soul’s 1989 hit song ‘Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)’. The song comes with a colourful music video and fans are already loving it.

The singer also gave a small clue that his next album might be called ‘No Sign Of Weakness’. This came after he cleared all posts from his Instagram page, where he has over 17.6 million followers.

He only left some photos and videos in his Instagram stories and changed his profile picture to a black loading icon across his social media accounts.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, first became popular in 2013 with his hot song ‘Like to Party’.

Since then, he has released seven albums, including ‘African Giant’ (2019) and ‘Twice As Tall’ (2020), which won a Grammy Award.

In April 2024, Time Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
