Blessing Nkor, the 21-year-old midfielder proudly made her debut for Nigeria’s Super Falcons on Saturday night. The match, held in Angers, France, saw the nine-time African champions narrowly fall 2-1 to Les Bleues in a high-intensity friendly.
Nkor, who plays for Turkish club Gaziantep Asya Spor, earned a starting spot and delivered an impressive 90-minute performance. Her efforts were instrumental in setting up Nigeria’s sole goal, netted by Ifeoma Onumonu. Despite the team’s loss, Nkor’s maiden appearance marked a significant milestone in her burgeoning career.
