The fallout from Equatorial Guinea’s ongoing corruption scandal has taken a new twist. The wife of Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the recently dismissed Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has been implicated in an extramarital affair, bringing further controversy to an already complex case.
Affair Exposed in Viral Video Footage
Footage has surfaced showing Engonga’s wife in an intimate encounter with another man, adding fuel to the scandal. The video was brought to public attention by Martins Ortse, a popular social critic known online as VeryDarkMan, who shared his reaction on Instagram. Alongside images from the video, Ortse expressed disbelief at the latest development, saying, “Just when I thought it was all over about this Equatorial Guinea man, the whole thing is getting more interesting…”

This revelation comes shortly after Baltasar Ebang Engonga’s own disgraceful fall from grace. In connection with a financial fraud investigation, Engonga was found to be in possession of approximately 400 explicit videos featuring himself with various women. These discoveries led to his dismissal from ANIF and his eventual arrest, further tarnishing his public image.
First Lady Constancia Mangue Obiang expressed strong disapproval over the scandal in a recent meeting with Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue. She emphasized the importance of safeguarding the dignity of Equatoguinean women and called for government intervention to prevent further erosion of privacy and respect in the digital age.
