The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced its readiness to collaborate with other progressive political forces across party lines to build a Nigeria its citizens can be proud of. The party’s National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, made the declaration during a press briefing in Abuja, reflecting sentiments shared by the National Leader of APGA and Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo.
Ezeokenwa highlighted that the resolution of the party’s internal leadership crisis, settled by a Supreme Court judgment affirming his chairmanship, has positioned APGA to reclaim its influence in Nigeria’s political arena.
“APGA proudly has elected representatives within and outside the South East. We are ready and willing to work with all other progressives to build Nigeria because we believe in our country,” Ezeokenwa stated.
In a move aimed at unifying the party, he announced amnesty for members who had supported opposing factions during the leadership tussle, provided they demonstrate genuine repentance.
Ezeokenwa commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a minister, describing the gesture as an acknowledgment of APGA’s contributions to the country’s development.
He also expressed gratitude to Charles Soludo, praising the Anambra governor for his visionary leadership both at the party level and in the state. Ezeokenwa highlighted Soludo’s policies as proof of how effective governance can enhance societal progress.
Reiterating APGA’s commitment to Nigeria’s progress, Ezeokenwa emphasized the party’s willingness to engage with like-minded political entities to foster meaningful collaboration. “We believe in the potential of our nation and are determined to contribute meaningfully to its development,” he said.
