87 years old Legendary Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins has lost his Pacific Palisades home in the devastating wildfires sweeping through California.

The blazes, which have forced over 30,000 residents to evacuate, have also destroyed the properties of several Hollywood stars.

Hopkins’ luxurious four-bedroom, five-bathroom colonial-style home, purchased for $6 million in 2021, was completely consumed by the flames. Photos of the property show nothing but rubble where the iconic home once stood.

This property had marked a new chapter for the Oscar-winning actor, following the sale of his Malibu oceanfront house for $10.5 million.

Hopkins had owned the Malibu property since 2001 and sold it at more than twice its original value.

The California wildfires, driven by strong winds and dry conditions, continue to wreak havoc across Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Authorities are working tirelessly to control the flames as families and celebrities alike face the destruction of their homes.
