The Artiste Managers Association of Nigeria (AMAN) will mark its 30th anniversary with a combined celebration and awards ceremony on November 26, 2025. The event will take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
AMAN President, Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Ajereh Enebeli, known professionally as Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW), stated that the association expects the 2025 event to surpass previous editions in scale and impact. He made the remarks during an interview at the AMAN secretariat in Lekki, Lagos.
Enebeli highlighted AMAN’s role as the umbrella body uniting artiste managers across Nigeria. The association is open to managers of all music genres and other creative industry professionals seeking to develop their skills in artiste management.
He called on all current artiste managers in Nigeria, as well as individuals aspiring to enter the profession, to register and join AMAN. Enebeli emphasized that membership provides opportunities to network, collaborate, and discuss modern trends in the field. The collective aim, he stated, is to foster a more professional artiste management culture within the country.
“AMAN, which is in its 30th year of existence, has helped many artiste managers and those with such aspirations realise their ambition,” Enebeli stated. He described artiste management as a “highly complex business” requiring specific education and expertise to excel.
The AMAN President defined an artiste manager as a business manager who utilizes skills in business administration, including finance, investment, marketing, accounting, statistics, and general management, for the benefit of their artist.
The November 2025 anniversary event will feature multiple activities. Confirmed components include a keynote lecture, workshops, a project unveiling, and an award ceremony. The celebrations will also include live music entertainment.
