Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal have significantly raised their proposal to Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, Italian media report. The Riyadh club’s latest bid reportedly stands at €40 million per season in wages, up from their previous high of €30 million.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Al-Hilal are prepared to meet the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract and have outlined a three-year deal with an optional fourth year, which would total €160 million across the entire term.
Osimhen, 26, has so far declined four separate offers from the Saudi champions. Despite these rejections, coach Simone Inzaghi’s side remain keen on securing the Nigeria international’s signature.
Meanwhile, Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are also understood to be pursuing a permanent transfer for the striker. Should Osimhen accept Al-Hilal’s enhanced terms, he would rank among the highest-paid footballers globally.
Under his current Napoli contract, Osimhen is protected by a release clause valued at approximately £64 million. His decision on the latest Al-Hilal offer is awaited.
