Liverpool hold a confirmed interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to football agent Bruno Satin. However, Satin described the Nigerian forward’s future as “unpredictable.”
Satin, who works with B&S partners, discussed the potential transfer during an interview with Italian radio station Kiss Kiss Napoli. His comments come amid speculation linking Osimhen with a move away from the Serie A club.
The agent also addressed the situation of current Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez. Satin stated, “I know that in Liverpool, he’s no longer doing well, and his wife wants to leave, too.” He added his personal view on Núñez’s attributes: “He’s strong, physically, is an animal, but he is also fast. In Serie A, one like him makes a difference.”
Núñez joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for a fee reported to be €85 million. During his time at Anfield, the Uruguayan international has scored 25 goals and provided 16 assists in 95 Premier League appearances.
Reports suggest Liverpool are seeking a striker this summer but would only make a significant investment in the position if Núñez departs the club. Speculation has mentioned the possibility of a swap deal involving Osimhen and Núñez, though no direct confirmation of such negotiations was provided by Satin.
