Emotional moment as A$AP Rocky jumped into Rihanna’s arms after being found not guilty in his assault case.

The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was facing serious charges two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm linked to a 2021 shooting involving his former friend, A$AP Relli.

If convicted, he could have been sentenced to 24 years in prison. After three weeks of trial, the Los Angeles jury took just three hours to reach a decision.

When the verdict was read, the courtroom screamed with joy. Rocky, overcome with relief, leaped from the defense table straight into the gallery, where Rihanna sat with his mother and sister.

The couple hugged tightly, tears in their eyes, as the weight of the trial finally lifted.

“Thank y’all for saving my life,” Rocky reportedly told the jury as they left the courtroom. Cheers erupted as the rapper held onto his family, with Rihanna by his side through it all.

After the verdict, Rihanna shared her feelings on Instagram, writing, “The glory belongs to God and God alone. Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
