Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries has warned his church members against marrying people from other churches.

He gave this warning during a recent sermon, explaining why he believes it’s better for his male congregants to marry women within the church.

In his message, which has now gone viral on social media, Suleman made it clear that he would no longer attend weddings of members who choose to marry women outside the church.

“If you wed somebody outside the ministry, I will not attend the wedding because there’s a lot of daughters in this church and you are looking outside,” he stated.

He emphasized that the weddings would still be conducted by the church, but he would personally not be present.

“The wedding will be conducted. They will wed you but I will not come.”

Suleman also revealed that most of the marital crises he has had to address recently involve members who married women from outside the church.

“70% of the crisis I have handled in the past two months is from people that married the girls from outside here,” he added.
