President Bola Tinubu’s administration has introduced electronic gates at international airports across Nigeria, an initiative aligned with the president’s Renewed Hope agenda. The move, aimed at modernizing airport infrastructure and streamlining travel experiences, was announced by Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser on Policy Communication.
Bwala, speaking about the development, emphasized that the initiative is designed to simplify life for Nigerians. “The idea of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope is to make life easier for Nigerians in all areas of their endeavors,” he stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The newly launched electronic gates by the Immigration Service are expected to reduce challenges related to human interaction during the travel process. This step is seen as a significant stride in upgrading the nation’s airport systems and improving passenger satisfaction.
Bwala added that the reforms are already yielding positive results and expressed optimism about their long-term impact. “The reforms are yielding some positives already and will only get better in the long run. Let’s keep the hope alive!” he wrote.
