Tottenham started the match strongly, storming to a quick two-goal advantage. Dominic Solanke opened the scoring, followed by Dejan Kulusevski’s strike, putting the hosts firmly in control early on.

However, Chelsea mounted a spirited comeback. Jadon Sancho sparked the revival with a well-taken goal, narrowing the deficit. Palmer then stepped up to convert his first penalty, leveling the scoreline.

The Blues took the lead for the first time through a clinical finish by Enzo Fernandez from inside the box. Palmer later added his second penalty of the night, extending Chelsea’s advantage to 4-2.

Despite a late goal from Son Heung-Min, which served as little more than consolation, Chelsea held on to claim the thrilling win.

This victory propelled Chelsea into second place on the league table with 31 points, overtaking Arsenal, who now sit third with 29 points following a 1-1 draw against Fulham.
