Grammy award winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has stirred online with a recent Instagram story post where he called out individuals for allegedly fabricating stories about owning expensive properties and luxury items.

In the post, Burna Boy mentioned Sujimoto’s Banana Island house and Elele’s property, suggesting some people falsely claim ownership of these high-end real estate assets. He also addressed the issue of aftermarket luxury watches, writing:

“If you have an aftermarket ‘rainbow Daytona,’ please stop telling people it’s real. Do better in 2025.”

He further added:

“It should be a criminal offence to tell as many lies as certain men. The list can go on and on and on.”

While Burna Boy did not name anyone directly, fans and followers were quick to speculate that his comments were aimed at fellow musician Davido, who has often shared details of his lavish lifestyle.

The references to Banana Island and luxury watches align with public narratives tied to Davido, fueling the rumors.
